Love, Sex Aur Dhoka story have three sub stories not linked to each other except the camera. These stories are real life incidents that we see around. First story is about an upcoming film maker who falls in love with his first movie’s heroin and problems that occur to them. Second story is based out of hidden cameras in departmental store girl’s dressing rooms. Third story is based on using girls in exchange of professional career.

You will mostly see new faces in this film as that was the requirement of the film. Excellent job is done by Nikos Andritsakis as a cameraman in fact you will feel that the scenes are captured in handy cam. Usage of underwater camera and security cameras are done very well.

This is a low budget film but done in an excellent way. Ekta kapoor’s film brings the changing face of film industry with some bold scenes in the film.

Writer Manu Rishia and Musician Sneha Khanwalkar is film fare winner. Dibaker, the director of the film has worked on a different subject this time and shooted the film on digital format.

Film releases on 19th march in India. Ekta kapoor is not releasing the movie overseas but things may change later on. With a different subject this movie is rated for 3stars.

His 2nd wife Heetal (Lara Dutta) loves him so much that she believes as if she is living a fairy tale, and Devika (Jiah Khan) is an easy going old fashioned small town gal.

Housefull is a romantic humorous entertainer that narrates the story of Aarush - world's unluckiest man. Being jinxed, he think his bad luck would go only if he gets his true love. In this search of true love, how one lie leads him to another and how several people from different phases of life come together, creating even more confusion to this hilarious comedy of errors, resulting in complete chaos and this chaos forms the core of the story.

The line which Deepika tells Akshay in this film "Jis jhooth se kissi ka ghar basta ho, voh jhooth jhooth nahin hota", actually sums up the essence of this film.

Road Movie review

Road movie created buzz internationally. We can hope that Dev Benegal directed film will get good response in India as well.

Road movie is fine with its drama and humor, casting Tannishtha Chatterjee, Satish Kaushik and Abhay Deol. Main theme of the movie rotates around mobile theater. Dev Benegal portrayed mediocre lifestyle with roadside standers. Abhay Deol changes his character during the route of journey on his mobile theatre. When he reaches to various regions then he discovers the true meaning of life by playing the character of Vishnu in one of his film of mobile theatre.

Abhay Deol escapes from his father’s business of hair oil and gets an opportunity to drive a truck in the desserts where he meets a migrating mechanic (Satish Kaushik), young boy (Mohammed Faizal Usmani) and gypsy women (Tannishtha Chatterjee). Later he comes to know that the truck is loaded with transportable theater. Yashpal Sharma plays the role of villain in this movie by leaving the poor without water in the drought struck desert. The director tries to make an interesting climax but could not meet up.

In this carnival movie other factors plays relevant role and entertains audience with comical act.

Cinematographer Michel Amathieu provides stunning background scenario and good scenes in the lands of Jaisalmer and Kutch.

Movie is average and gets 2 ½ stars.

ROKKK Movie Review

Rokkk is a horror movie, casting Udita Goswami, Tanushree Dutta, and Shaad Randhawa. Tanushree Dutta is newly married and discovers her new house haunted. She finds a weeping child who forces her to do strange things. The climax of the movie is disappointing with the same old tantra and mantra of usual bollywood horror movie. Momentum of the movie keeps you anxious firstly when Udita Goswami and Tanushree Dutta fights with ghost who stays in the dark shadow. These two beautiful babes do funny things with sharp weapons. The kid follows them everywhere and peep them through dark shadow. The one thing that’s stop her is the discovery of the black book.

The desi horror dramas with its chills are there in the movie. You can still wait for the perfect Bollywood horror movie. Rajesh Ranshinge the director of the movie is far away from the innovation. Rokkk shows nothing new to the viewers.

Watch the movie to know is the movie scary enough and how Udita Goswami manages to save her sister from the spirit? Movie gets 2 ½ stars.

Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge Movie Review

Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge is a 1 hour 58 minutes of comedy movie. This movie is unlike the recent comedies of Bollywood, the characters and situations that are created in the movie make you smile. All these situations are similar to those when unwanted relatives from any small town arrive without any information at your small flat with their irritating habits. Some of the habits like gargling before dawn, making clothesline in your window and man-made floods in your small bathroom. Well these familiar situations you recognize and that’s how the movie makes you laugh.

In this movie Chachaji (Paresh Rawal) arrives without informing to Pappu’s (Ajay Devgan) house. Konkana Sen Sharma plays the role of Pappu’s uptown wife and forced to cook food according to Atithi’s wishes. Chachaji is a friendly old man so many of the neighborhood friends come to Pappu’s house daily and Konkana have to take care of them too. Will the uptown couple miss him when he leaves their place? Watch the movie and know, is it the comeback of 1980’s comedy movies of Hrishikesh Mukherjee?

Performances: Paresh Rawal is the perfect match for the Role of Chachaji. Ajay Devgan and Konkana Sen Sharma complement each other.

Robin Bhat and Tushar Hiranandani picked up a very familiar subject and twisted a bit.

Dialogues have gentle humor and never try to make you laugh intentionally.

Styling meets upper class Mumbai fashion with small town dhotis.

Movie is light hearted and watchable so deserves 3 ½ stars.

As India doesn’t have good Casinos like Las Vegas, it’s a question how movie has dealt with the game and the places; it’s a round table or handkerchief by the side of the road? Most of us know making a film is a game of gambling so how Bollywood deals with this subject in the movie is something to watch.

Teen Patti is the movie of two Big BS Amitabh Bachchan and Ben Kingsley. With Big BS and the game of Teen Patti the movie is directed by Leena Yadav. The movie’s plot reminds us of the film “21”. Shakti Kapoor’s daughter Shradha Kapoor makes her debut with Teen Patti. R Madhavan holding the year’s best performance with co -actor Shradha Kapoor.

Movie showcases many good actors like Danny Denzongpa, Mahesh Manjrekar, Boman Irani, Irrfan Khan, Ajay Devgan, Sushmita Sen and Raima Sen.

Song Teen Patti ke Ghulam is a big hit by Salim Merchant. Music is going to be memorable in the list of item number by Salim-Suleman. Ashley Lobo's choreography in the song Neeyat Kharab Hai is fun to watch. Funny styling is done by Ameira Punvan's costume.

The movie rocks and the movie keep its hold throught out. With the thrills and item numbers you will keep enjoying the movie till end. This thrill and fun filled movie gets 3 1/2 stars.

Karthik Calling Karthik Review

The concept of Karthik calling Karthik generates a high level of curiosity in the film. The most outstanding thing is to continue the curiosity for two hours. The story is divided in parts, the story get shifted from Mumbai to Kerela.

Farhan Akhatar after his Rock on and other hits proves himself a good actor again. Farhan Akhatar is a looser in this movie and has a drab life. But the way he builds his confidence and conquers the world is something that makes you stay watching the movie. Deepika Padukone looks glamorous as usual and plays the role of modern city girl. Shefali Chayya and Ram kapoor played good roles.

Somehow the drama of the movie is heavy and entertainment factor does not works well may be Deepika should have added her bubbly nature more. But the thrill and suspension keeps the movie going on and will make you watch till the end.

Performance wise Farhan Akhatar rocks again and Deepika looks sparkling. Newage dialogues suits the movie and reveling music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Vijay Lalwani has screen played cosmopolitan culture of present times very well in the movie. Styling and costumes looks good and is done by Niharika Khan. Good cinematography by the empty spaces framed for Karthik from Sanu Verghese.

Subject of the movie is something different and you will enjoy the movie. It’s a good movie and can be rated for 3 ½ stars.

My Name Is Khan Review

Karan Johar again comes with a block buster. He has again shown his skills and efficiency of being the best director. He has given SRK a character of autistic person. Kajol is looking glamorous and best styling has been done for her given the look of perfect actress.

You will like to stay with Rizwan with his lovers and haters till the end of his mission. Movie has all the elements of emotions. At one time you will have non-stop laughter and another moment tear drops out of your eyes. The story is not related to 9/11 but makes you remember the dreadful date. Dialogues are heart touching and Sharukh makes it more remarkable. Music is just perfect for music lovers and has a Sufi touch. Movie is indeed a super hit and you are going to watch again the hit couple Sharukh and Kajol together after a long time. SRK and Kajol have taken the box office all over again. Locations are really beautiful and the sets look real. You will know that caste and creed cannot create difference as long as we all are human. Get to know the goodness of humanism with Rizwan. Story is written from heart and gets implemented by mind.

When you will enter the theatre you get to forget everything and will only remember Sameer, Mandira and Rizwan. Catch the earliest show and you will definitely love the movie, specially the challenging role of Sharukh in the character Rizwan. For its story, cinematography, sound track and performance the movie gets not less than 5 stars.

Rann Movie Review

If you watch new News Channels and like them, we won't blame you, as news is not what happens, news is only that sells in the market. This is the tagline of the new movie of Ram Gopal Verma – Rann. Rann stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Rajat Kapoor, Gul Panag, Rajpal Yadav, Suchitra Krishnamurti, Paresh Rawal and Mohnish Behl.

The center of Rann is though, not of any above stated stars, but is the news; the news that is real and the news that sells. Purab Shastri (Ritesh Deshmukh) is an honest journalist and thus, he idolizes the boss of his channel Vijay Harshwardhan Malik (Amitabh Bachchan). Malik believes in ethics and instructs his employees to always give news that is real and should not stress on creating news; though his son Jay (Sudeep) does not believe in his ideals, as the channel is going in a loss. The competitor channel run by Amrish Kakkar (Mohnish Behl) is gaining huge TRPs because of the spicy news that is being specially 'created', as Kakkar believes that his channel will only show what sells in the market and what people want to see. Jay always tries to persuade his father to change the style of news presentation, but Malik believes in honesty and truth. Supporting Mailk is Purab and he undertakes the mission to raise the TRPs with true news. Jay becomes envy of Purab and the twist in the tale comes when Jay's brother-in-law industrialist Navin Shankalya persuades him to 'make' a story to expose PM Huda as a culprit of the bomb blasts. This was actually the offer of politician and Jan Seva party chief Mohan Pandey (Paresh Rawal) who wants to become PM. Jay persuades his dad about the story's truth ness and Malik gets ready to show it on his channel.

There is an intense speech of Amitabh Bachchan in the climax. After hearing this speech, you won't be left with any other option, but to applaud the legendary actor. Performance wise, Amitabh rules the movie, whereas Sudip, Ritesh, Paresh and Mohnish Behl have played their respective parts with precision. Rajat Kapoo looks good in the role of a shrewd industrialist and Suchitra Krishnamurti and Rajpal Yadav have also played their role up to the mark.

However, the story of the film is new, but the concept is old – ethics v/s profit. We can relate Rann to films like Corporate and a flop film of 2009, Rocket Singh – Salesman of the year; but what put Rann ahead of them is the intensity of Ram Gopal Verma. Those who though that RGV is over after Agyaat, well they should watch Rann. This RGV movie can be compared to any of his legendary films like Satya, Company, Ab Tak Chappan or Rangeela. For its treatment and intensity, we give Rann a four star.

Ishqiya Movie Review

Like all Vishal Bhardawaj movies Ishqiya has a good story, tight direction, melodious music and amazing performers. Almost every previous movie of Vishal Bharadwaj was away from regular life, be it A Blue Umbrella, Makdee, Maqbool, Omkara or Kaminey. Though, the movie has three characters; Mamujaan (Naseeruddin Shah), Babban (Arshad Warsi) and Krishnaji (Vidya Balan), the fourth character of the film was the location itself – the rural background of eastern U.P.

The entertainment factor in a Vishal Bharadwaj is not being shunned, though his movies are also appraised by the critics; similar is the case with Ishqiya. The location of rural eastern U.P. is not mere a location, it shows its colors in the movie very loudly by the casteism, crude language and the modern life of a villager. Also, the kidnapping thing in the movie is very strong, as it reveals the reason for many kidnapping cases and the reason for other rural crimes. The language used in the movie is explicit at times and if you think Vidya has not speak any of them; you should see the attitude of Krishnaji in the movie. However, we won't blame you if you do not find yourself satisfied in the end.

If we talk about the performance of the main lead, it has to be Naseeruddin Shah. He is so very colorful in the movie that he does not mind coloring his beard black for Krishnaji. Vidya Balan has put in a scintillating performance after her role in Paa. The shrewdness and attitude that she carries in the role of a widow is awesome and one must watch this movie for her. Arshad Warsi as Babban has also given a splendid performance and he never gives up pushing Mamujaan a step back in wooing Krishnaji.

The direction is very tight till the climax begins; for a new director like Abhishek Chaubey, that's almost brilliant. The cinematography is good, portraying different shades of eastern U.P. We give overall 3 and a half star rating to Ishqiya.

3 Idiots Review, Three Idiots Movie Review

3 Idiots is a must watch. The movie that was the most awaited flick of the year has lived up to the expectation. There has been tremendous amount of expectation on 3 Idiots with some of the following reasons building the movie to be the biggest hyped one in Bollywood in 2009

3 Idiots has the Aamir Khan-Sharman Joshi –Madhavan team of Rang De Basanti(2009) joining hands with director Raj Kumar Hirani who directed the very popular Lagey Raho Munnabhai (2006)

It is Raj Kumar Hirani’s chance to do a hat-trick with two blockbusters Munnabhai MBBS and Lagey Raho Munnabhai.

It is an Aamir Khan. This alone is a crowd pulling statement. And with Ghajini among the top 5 biggest money-makers of Bollywood, 3 Idiots deserved to be super-hyped. So does it work?

Three actors from the path-breaking Rang De Basanti team - Aamir, Madhavan and Sharman - team up yet again. Plus, Aamir's teaming up with Hirani. It couldn't get bigger!

3 Idiots is over-hyped and that could be dangerous for any film since it's the expectations which kill a film if the content doesn't match up to the hype. In this case, all izz well!

Now let's demystify the myths...

3 Idiots is not about idiots or nincompoops. It's about three engineering students who believe in 'I'll Do It On my Terms' and that's what the three characters achieve in life and that's what Hirani, Chopra, Aamir eventually achieve at the end of the movie. Making a movie on their terms!

One more thing! You cannot draw parallels with any other film, past or present, successful or unsuccessful. And though people may draw parallels with Ghajini or the Munnabhai series, it would be sacrilege to do so. 3 Idiots [based on a novel 'Five Point Someone' by Chetan Bhagat] doesn't tilt, it stands tall.

Rocket Singh Movie Review

Harpreet Singh Bedi (Ranbir Kapoor) passes out his graduation with embarrassing marks. The less ambitious Harpreet unlike his friends doesn’t go in for higher education but opts for a Salesman’s job. He joins AYS, a computer selling firm which has a very demanding boss, Sunil Puri (Manish Choudhary) and an extremely rude and no-nonsense immediate boss, Nitin Rathore. With his competitive colleagues leaving no opportunity to poke fun of the earnest rookie, Harpreet lands in trouble with his seniors over his first client visit itself. Insulted and demoted, Harpreet then hits upon an idea to start his own parallel business naming his firm Rocket Sales. He gradually ropes in all the key staff members of his own office making them equal profit partners and soon becomes a big business threat to AYS. The rapidly sliding company’s sliding sales figures rattle Puri. What happens to Harpreet and his Rocket Sales team after Puri tries to find who his major competitor is, forms the rest of the film.

“Rocket Singh” stands tall despite its flaws. On the surface it has a uni-focussed sameness to its narration, as though the story was being told in one breath.

The lack of drama in a situation simmering with emotional dips and curves gets the audience fidgety. But soon we realise the absence of expendable energy is the narrative’s primary virtue.
You can’t miss the writer and director’s concern for a growing middle-class that worships wealth and success at the cost of more valuable assets. Most of all you can’t miss Ranbir as the understated Sardar riding his cherry-red scooter gifted by his grandfather (Prem Chopra) cringing at the red light when a swanky motorbike rides up alongside.

But Ranbir’s portrayal of the loser’s rise from shame to name is a journey we’d any day undertake even on a cherry-red scooter.

Frankly, ROCKET SINGH - SALESMAN OF THE YEAR is more of a documentary on the life of a salesman. It's a decent film, no two opinions on that, but the question is, [a] Is the story powerful enough to excite you and [b] Does it grab your attention in entirety? Sadly, the answer to both the questions is in the negative.

De Dana Dan Movie Review

De Dana Dan can be said as the worst movie directed by Priyadarshan. This movie also suggests that Priyadarshan is heading towards the end of the ideas which could tickle a person’s funny bone. De Dana Dan does not show any new thing, in fact it can be easily related to any of the movies with poor guy and rich girl made in comic style. One could see a glimpse of Ram Gopal Verma’s Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega in the movie.

De Dana Dan is the story of two poor guys who cannot marry their girlfriend because of financial constraints. Nitin, (Akshay Kumar) works for Archana Puran Singh. He is her driver, servant, gardener and cook. She ill treats her. Ram Mishra (Suniel Shetty) is a courier boy hasn’t delivered much in life. Both Nitin and Ram have their own girlfriends in Katrina Kaif and Sameera Reddy, respectively. Money is the need of the hour for both of them and they again do a Hera Pheri, by making a plan of kidnapping.

Akshay Kumar repeats himself in the movie, but is funny at times. The trio of Akshay, Sunil and Paresh is not able not deliver the same magic and chemistry as was done in Hera Pheri and Awaara Paagal Deewana. Also, Priyadarshan hides his trump card Akshay Kumar in the scond half of the movie, just to focus mainly on his other cast members, that consists of Manoj Joshi, Archana Puran Singh, Asrani, Johnny Lever and Rajpal Yadav. This also hampers the fun of the film.

De Dana Dan though offers laughter in the first half, yet it fails to deliver the knockout punch. We gave a 2.5 star rating for De Dana Dan.

Kurbaan Movie Review

Kurbaan starts from Delhi University. Professor Avantika (Kareena Kapoor), shifts home to Delhi, previously based in New York. When she begins to teach in DU after her dad suffers from a heart attack, her path crosses with colleague and fellow professor, Ehsaan Khan (Saif Ali Khan). Gradually and inevitably romance blossoms between the two.

After some months, Avantika receives a call from New York University asking her to join them again. Ehsaan supports her and agrees to join her in New York, however, only after a matrimonial alliance and so the wedding happens. Soon enough they are shown to move to an Indian neighbourhood in New York. Not much later, they get invited over for dinner by neighbours, a home that happens to be of conservative Muslims, the fateful twist hence! Slowly Avantika gets sucked into a vortex of danger and she soon realises she is a mere pawn in a huge terrorist plotting and her own husband plays a significant part in a terrorist cell that operates in New York.

Kurbaan is a very intense film something of which has never been seen from Dharma Productions before. Not for an instant, even in meager nuances does the movie empathize with, much less justify, terrorism, or the mind of a terrorist. Instead, it maintains a sole focus on depicting the steel bracing, heartless side to these so called humans, driven as they claim to be by a religious motive, behind utter violence and consequent victimization of countless innocents.

Coming to the actors, Kurbaan stands evidence to exceptional work by its entire crew, on and off stage. Vivek Oberoi is bound to walk home with all the accolades for his superlative performance. In this major reviving role for his acting career, Vivek has done himself, his team, and the audience complete justice. As for the lead couple, while Saif Ali Khan lets down no expectations, however high, that were placed upon him, Bebo compliments her on screen-real life beau, appreciably. So much that, it appears, she has left no stone unturned in defying, with her performance, any doubts there may have been over her selection as 'Avantika' courtesy Saif. Om Puri and Kiron Kher have delivered their bit flawlessly once again. Dia Mirza, Nauheed Cyrusi and Kulbhushan Kharbanda, appear briefly, but well.

The story of ‘Paa’ is about a young boy of 13 years, whose name is Auro. He has a rare genetic disorder. He is suffering from a disease called Progeria. Progeria causes speed up ageing. Due to this disease, Auro looks 5 times older than what his real age is. But Auro doesn’t take it on his golden heart and lives like a happy-go-lucky child. Abhishek Bachchan is playing the role of Auro's father in this movie. He is portraying the role of a politician. The character of Auro’s mother has been played by Vidya Balan; she is a gynecologist.

Amitabh has to stick many pieces of clay to get the exact look on his face and used to spent hours for make up. Amitabh cannot drink or eat, once the make up is over and Amitabh also shaved off the hair on his head and hands, so that the veins become visible easily. Amitabh cannot move even an inch once the make up is done.

It is a well known fact that Amitabh Bahchan, along with his son Abhishek, wife Jaya and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, forms an unmatchable combo.

The movie has a new piece of comedy and offers a full pack entertainment. If you are looking for love, romance, fun, comedy and emotions then in "AjabPrem Ki Gazab Kahani" will give you a lot of.

In the story line up Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of Prem and has a 9th standard drop-out. He talks foolish, and everyone consider him as good for nothing. Prem's life takes an interesting turn, when orphan Jenny (Katrina Kaif) enters his life with a bang.

Prem and Jenny become friends and then the movie gets track. Prem is caught between Jenny's wedding and her boyfriend. The ball rolls in and story becomes very interesting with every passing moment.

Both Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor have done justice to their roles. Again Raj Kumar Santoshi came up with a good direction with a good story. Movie is very nice and you will enjoy the beauty of Goa and Ooty.

'Bigg Boss 3' gets government notice for vulgarity

Big Boss3, the Colors channel reality show, comes with its third season at New Delhi, The iconic film star Amitabh Bachchan is going to host the show for this season, but it is surrounded by a problem with the Information and Broadcasting Ministry. A notice had been send to Colors channel this Monday for the vulgar language which was used during the show.

Within 5 days, the channel has to give suitable reasons for this act or the show will be stopped.

Show cause notice said that, Big Boss 3 is using vulgar language again and again in the show. There is no decency while talking to each other. All these things are not suitable for open public exhibition.

Notice said that, usage of bad language by the participants and some of the scenes which are obscene and creates violation during the show should not be there. These things are against government’s programme code.

Notice also said that while the show was going on air one participant pulls down another participant shorts. This was not liked by many viewers.

According to the Ministry, Colors have been asked not to violate the programme codes which held since the act of 1995 for cable TV networks (Regulation).
Kamal R khan was out of this show because of his disobedience.

This show is inspired by the international show ‘Big Brother’ in which 13 celebrities are kept in a house for 84 days and seen by 40 cameras, round the clock. This season includes celebrities like Poonam Dhillon, Tanaz Currim Irani, Bakhtiyar Irani, Sherlyn Chopra, Raju Srivastava and more.
